It is with heartfelt sadness we announce the passing of Judy on December 19, 2017 after a courageous battle in Salmon Arm, BC, with her family by her side.
Judy was born in Enderby on March 17, 1944. She completed her education there and worked at Enderby and District Credit Union until she had her children. Judy married Gary on August 8, 1964. After her family was raised, she returned to Enderby and District Credit Union for 13 years.
Judy enjoyed spending time with family, camping, gardening, softball, baking and cooking, and loving her best friend, Molly.
She was predeceased by her parents Austin and Grace Blackburn, eldest sister Marie Olich.
She is survived by her loving husband Gary, son Barry (Shellie) of Nelson; daughter Deana of Kelowna; Sister Dorothy (Al) Davyduke-Hobbs of Enderby; numerous nieces and nephews, many extended family and friends. She will be forever in our hearts.
Special thanks from the family to Dr. Humphreys and the nurses at the Vernon Cancer Clinic for their care and compassion and to the outstanding nurses in the inpatient care unit floor #2 along with Dr.'s Glanville, Meissner, Youme and Heunis at the Shuswap Lake General Hospital.
