On Friday, February 21st 2025, Judith (Judy) Malen Miletto, loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother and friend to many, passed away peacefully at the age of 74.
Judy was born March 21, 1950 and raised in Kelowna BC. In her late teens, early adulthood, she met the young man of her dreams, Kenny (Kenneth) Miletto. Love at first sight, as they say. Ken and Judy married at the young age of 20 and spent the next 54 years together, it would be forever.
Judy was preceded in death by her father, Ernest Malen and her mother Agnus Malen. She is survived by her beloved husband Ken, her daughter Wendy, her son Jason. Her Grandaughters Joey and Maggy Lee, Grandsons Brandon and Colby. As well as her extended family including her older Sister Marlene and Brother-in-Law Jim. Many Cousins and too many good friends to name.
Judy's love for people and love for life, became her Superpower. Anyone that met Judy or had the joy of knowing her, would forever feel her care and love. Her smile and unique laugh, quick wit humour, as well as her spark and light filled a room and would be enjoyed by all.
After 12 years as a Stay at home Mom, Judy worked at WorkSafe (Workers Compensation Board) for 26 years, until Retirement at the age of 57. For the next 17 years, she would enjoy her beautiful home, her many friends and family, her stunning flower baskets and lastly and mostly, her 4 adored grandchildren.
Those favourite things... Fabulous shoes, good food, great movies, great friends, a fantastic social, visiting family and Xmas.
We will forever have you in our hearts. You will be missed terribly, Mom. Dear Judy, we will cherish the time we shared with you.
It was a very special era that we will remember, always.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a further date.
