June Myrtle Repp
1932 – 2009
It is with sadness we announce the passing of June Myrtle Repp, at the age of 76 years, at Vernon Jubilee Hospital, Vernon, BC on April 1, 2009. Born June 19, 1932 in Medicine Hat, Alberta, June spent her earlier years in Alberta.
In 1951 she married Allan Albert Repp in Calgary, Alberta where three of their four children were born. In 1969 they moved to British Columbia and settled in Vernon from 1972 until the present.
June will be remembered for her beautiful, friendly smile and for her love for her family. She loved life and always had a tender spot for those less fortunate. What a phenomenal knowledge she had of old movies. Her family was the centre of her life with her grandchildren and great grandchildren being a pivotal part in later years.
She will be forever loved and remembered by her husband, Allan Albert Repp, to whom she was married for fifty-seven years; son, Wayne (Shawn) Repp of Salt Spring Island, BC; daughters: Valerie Lumley of Vernon, Janice (James) Newman of Vernon, Yvonne Repp, Calgary, Alberta; eight grandchildren, ten great grandchildren – soon to be eleven. June was predeceased by her daughter Heather Repp and her granddaughter Katharine Weyman.
A private interment at Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Vernon, BC will precede a Memorial Service which will be held at 1:30 p.m., Monday, April 6, 2009, at the West Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses,
