KARL EDWARD of Okanagan Falls, passed away November 5, 2002 at Moog and Friends Hospice House in Penticton at 66 years of age after a courageous battle with cancer. He is survived by his children; Laura (Larry) Helfrich of Strathmore, Greg of Red Deer, Duane (Virginia) of Calgary; mother Anna of Vernon; grandsons, Aidan and Ross Helfrich and Liam, Caleb, and Conner Duker; sister, Karen (Hans) Bahr of Osoyoos, and their family Wendy Price, Gary (Lynn) and Kevin Bahr; aunt Margaret Hall and many cousins. Ed was a proud member of the Calgary City Police Force from 1958-1983. He moved to the Okanagan Valley in 1983. He loved soccer, the Okanagan in summer and Arizona in winter. No service by request.
