April 15, 1962 - August 28, 2022
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Kathleen Mary Waters in the early hours of August 28th at her home in Vernon, BC. She fought a long and courageous battle with cancer before her passing. Kathleen grew up in Kelowna but lived in many communities throughout Alberta and BC. She had a beautiful voice and she loved to sing which she would do any chance she got. She loved to laugh and her hilarious sense of humour brought many smiles to those around her.
Kathleen was predeceased by her parents Paul and Martha Waters, her brothers John, Robert, and Kevin and her son David Byford(Nov 2021).
She is survived by her son Darron Byford, grandson Gareth, honorary grandchildren Jen and James, her brother Blake as well numerous other family and friends in the US and Canada.
What she will be remembered most for was her love of Jesus. She loved to talk and share with others her faith. Her daily goal was to do what was pleasing to God. We rejoice in her heavenly reward.
