In loving memory ~
With heavy hearts and much love, the family of Kathleen (Kathy) Willis nee Titley announce her passing into glory on April 3, 2022, in Vernon BC at the age of 85 years old. The precious memories that we have of her will always be lovingly remembered by her daughters Darlene (Ernie), Sydney, Edna and Jennifer and stepsons Richard and Frank; grandchildren Christine (Nathan), Richard (Krista), Roberta, Dale, Alex (Melissa) and Shawn; great grandchildren Ashley, Kayleb, Amber, Aydan, Lili, Rose, Samantha and Kylee; great great granddaughter Kiya; her sisters Lila and Mary; sister- in-law Selma and so many nieces and nephews.
Mom was predeceased by her first husband of 28 years Valisav (Wally) Paunovic; her second husband of 21 years Robert (Bob) Willis; her daughter Suzanne; granddaughter JennyLee; sons-in-law Guillaume and Barry; her Mom, Dad and Stepdad; and her siblings Hilda, Helen, Roy, Dick, Muriel and Elsie.
Mom lived a long and love filled life with her family by the strength she drew from her faith in Christ. She was so grateful for the patient and thoughtful care of Dr. Dyck and Dr. Mthandazo and the wonderful and caring staff at Heritage Square where she spent the last 10 months of her life. Our family thanks you for the support and compassion provided for our Mom and family. Loving care was given to her from her sister and friend of 84 years, our Auntie Mary. You were always there loving on Mom in so many ways right to her very last breath (we love you!). The most amazing, loving and selfless care our Mom could ever receive was from our sister Edna. Barry and Edna provided their safe loving home to Mom and Bob in their final years together. Edna, without you, Mom wouldn't have had the care and quality of life in her last 8 years. Thank you for pouring your love into Mom in all the many different ways you have, for all of these years. We love you!
A service to celebrate Mom's life will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2022, at 1:00PM at Living Word Lutheran Church located at 6525 Okanagan Landing Road in Vernon, BC.
Preceded by a family grave side burial at 11:00 am at Pleasant Valley Cemetery (4311 Pleasant Valley Road Vernon, BC).
