In loving memory ~
It is with heavy broken hearts the family of Keith John Hill announces his peaceful passing at the Vernon Hamlets after a brave and hard-fought battle with Parkinson's Disease.
Keith grew up in Westwold, B.C., before marrying his loving wife of 58 years, Carol Churchill, in 1964, when they took residence together in Falkland, B.C. Keith spent his entire career in the forestry industry, building thousands of kilometres of logging roads across the Okanagan Valley. Beyond being a skilled road builder and his most important roles as a loving husband, father and grandfather, Keith was an avid card player and fan of many sports and activities, including camping, fishing, baseball, hockey, curling and horse racing.
Keith is survived by his wife: Carol Hill; two sons: Trever (Kerri) Hill and Kirby (Connie) Hill; and daughter: Shannan Hill. Also left to miss and remember their "Papa" are Keith's seven loving grandchildren: Miranda, Madi, Ariel, Braden, Quincy, Parker and Jamin. Keith will be further remembered and missed by his two sisters, Marion (Art) Waby and Sharon Hagell, as well as his extended Churchill family and many other caring family and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Art and Janette Hill. A celebration of Keith's life will be announced later in the Summer of 2023.
RIP, sweet guy,
we will love and cherish everything
you gave us until the day after forever.
