In Loving Memory of IVANITZ ,Kenneth Gerald.

Kenneth is predeceased by his Mom and Dad (Samuel and Hazel Ivanitz) and mother and father in-law (Robert and Catherine Dickens). He is survived by his wife of thirty years, Janice Ivanitz, his children Tara (Nathan) Champness, Sam (Sarah) Ivanitz, Tilea (Cam) Chwiendacz, and Jamie Trueman. He is also missed by his grandchildren Ezrianne, Wells, and Wyatt; his brothers and sisters Jim (Marilyn), Sam (Rose), Lori (Tim) Wheeler, Jeannie (Bill) Manifold, and Jacquie Anderson, and many other relatives.

Ken was raised in Vernon, moving to Calgary to start his business Vercal Erectors before returning to Vernon in 1986 to establish his company here. Many structures across our country were built with his own two hands. While doing this, he met and married his wife of 30 years, Janice. He was a family man above all else, working hard and always smiling. He was a sociable people-person with a huge, warm heart and a bright sense of humour; when he wasn't cracking jokes, you could find him tinkering with little projects or working on his old cars with a smile on his face. Kenneth also had a passion for fishing, peaceful walks along the rail trail, and puzzles. Most of all, he loved his wife, children, grandchildren, and his family. Kenneth will always be loved, always remembered, and never forgotten.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to do so may make a donation to the Huntington Society of Canada or to the Canadian Mental Health Association.
