Kenneth (Ken) STEWART

Mr. Kenneth Adrian (Ken) Stewart entered into eternity on Wednesday, October 10th, 2007, leaving us so he could go and once again dance with his beloved Bessie. He will be lovingly remembered and forever missed by his daughter and son-in-law, Donna & Laurie Beenen of Armstrong, B.C.; two grandsons, Jason (Jessica) Eckert of Vernon, B.C. and Marty (Sherri) Eckert of Armstrong, B.C.; his great-granddaughter, Taylor Eckert of Armstrong, B.C.; his step-daughter, Fran Bateman of Cranbrook, B.C.; two brothers, Jim (Ethel) Stewart of Edmonton, Alberta and Bob Milton of Regina, Saskatchewan; numerous nieces, nephews, dear friends and his faithful companion, “Abby”. He was predeceased by his wife, Bessie Stewart in 1968; one sister, Gladys Gordon and one brother, Floyd Stewart. Ken served overseas for four years during World War II in the Canadian Armed Forces. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #35, Armstrong, and will be greatly missed by his comrades. Cremation preceded a Celebration Of Ken’s Life which will be held at Bethel Funeral Chapel on Monday, October 15th, 2007 at 3:00 P.M. with Mr. Brian Jackson officiating.
