1944 – 2008
Kenneth Wayne Manke passed away peacefully on Thursday,
December 4th, 2008 in Kamloops, B.C. at the age of 64 years.
Ken was born in Vernon on June 17th, 1944 and lived there
most of his life. He was predeceased by his father, Leonard in
1983, his mother, Lena in 1996, his brothers, Irvine in 2001 and
Dwaine in February 2008. Ken is survived by three sisters, Lillian
Bromley of Kamloops, B.C., Shirley Deboer of Edmonton, Alberta,
Emily Smith (Syd) of Vernon, B.C. and three brothers, Alan, of
Penticton, B.C., Jerry of Vernon, B.C. and Doug (Darlene) of Delta,
B.C., plus numerous nieces and nephews.
The Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 13th,
2008 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Pleasant Valley Funeral
Home with Major Phil Franco offi ciating. Inurnment will follow
in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery.
