We have lost a Sister.

– Gentle Sister –

46 years old, died at her Nanaimo home, early Jan. 30th of natural causes.

Kim was creative, artistic, highly intelligent, funny, and kind. She was beautiful inside and out. We remember her blonde hair, blue eyes, and great smile. She did so many special ‘little things’: knitting tiny Barbie sweaters,

painting fingernails, drawing pictures, baking treats,

making blankets.

Kim loved baking, clothes, reading, sewing, and bunnies and kitties. We remember her vulnerability, her gentleness, and her need for love, support and nurturing.

Kim struggled with alchohol and drug addiction. When she died, she was in a methadone treatment program, and seeing a counsellor.

Kim is remembered, with love, by her two children Kyle, 21, a 4th year university science student, of Kamloops; and Kayla, 18, who graduated last year, of Williams Lake.

Kim also leaves her two younger sisters, Tina Maynard, of Armstrong, and Tammy Maynard Thielman, of Salmon Arm, along with brother-in-law John Thielman, and nieces Melissa, and Katie, and nephew, Clayton. Also, step-Dad Fred Maynard, “Gramps,” of Salmon Arm.

We Mourn For Our Sister –love Tina & Tammy
