Kristin was born on July 1st, 1984 in Surrey, B.C. and passed away on September 2nd, 2018 in Vernon, B.C. after a brief but courageous battle with cancer. She will be lovingly remembered by her parents; Rick & Ludi Vandergugten of Smithers, B.C., her siblings; Jessica (Joe) Vanderleest of Smithers, B.C., Ben Vandergugten of Dawson City, Yukon, Jared (Kayla) Vandergugten of Williams Lake, B.C. and Jaclyn (Ryan) Cole of Telkwa, B.C. along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. Kristin was preceded in death by her Oma & Opa Gritter.
A Graveside Service in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery preceded a Reception which was held at Bethel Funeral Chapel on Monday, September 10th, 2018 at 12:00 P.M. with Pastor Will Weins officiating.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks and gratitude to the B.C. Cancer Agency, Kristin's doctors and health care providers, friends, neighbours and family for the special care and support shown to Kristin.
