Passed away while camping with his family at 100 Mile House at the age of 75 years. Kurt came to Prince George with his family from Liechtenstein in 1938 and worked in the logging, construction and farming industries. He retired and moved to live in Vernon in 1998. Kurt is survived by his brother Eugene (Joan), and sister Gertrude Kos. He will also be remembered by his companion Joyce Jack, his brother in law Tony Kos and his nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by his parents Gebhard and Maria Banzer.
A Memorial service was held in Prince George on Tuesday May 26th 2009 at 10:30 am from Sacred Heart Cathedral. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice. Cremation arrangements in care of Assman’s Funeral Chapel.
