LARRY HAUFF

Hauff, Larry Brian

It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our loving Father, Grandfather, and Husband Larry Hauff on December 6, 2014. Born April 24th, 1950 in Wetaskiwin, Alberta, Larry lived 64 wonderful years – primarily in Coldstream and Armstrong – known always for his boisterous laugh, kind smile, and generous heart. Larry will be remembered by his Wife and dance partner of 19 years Marjorie Wood, Children Koby and Lyndsay Hauff and their Mother Sandra, Marjorie’s Children Eric (Jolene Kennett) Wood, Carolyn (Paul) Tiefensee, Courtney (Joe) LeBourdais, Grandchildren Mason, Evan, Liam, Ava, and Maya, as well as his Brothers Rolland (Audrey), Richard (Janet), and Bernard (Terri), Sisters Mabel Day, Joan Hauff, Karen (Brian) Litzenberger, as well as many Nieces, Nephews, extended family, and large circle of friends. Larry was predeceased by his Parents, Raymond and Mary Hauff, Brother Edward and Sisters Ruthie and Alice. Larry took pleasure in the simple things – spending time with his family and friends, taking weekend road trips, listening to oldies and the Vinyl Café on the radio, and delighting in a slice of pie. Larry was a dedicated 43 year employee of R. E. Postill & Sons. An open house to celebrate Larry’s life will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2014, from 10 -12 pm at the Women’s Institute Hall in Coldstream. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Larry’s name to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
