We are saddened to announce the passing of Laura Evans on June 3, 2019 in Vernon, BC. Laura passed away comfortably in her sleep after a very happy and busy life. Among her passions were horseback riding and a rodeo, playing guitar, banjo, accordian and piano, playing hockey, and all-around entertaining people. Laura is survived by her husband Ralph Richard Evans, sons Keith Richard Evans and Ward Stewart Evans, grandchildren Justin, Katie, Kelsey, Tess and Karly, Nathan and family, great-grandchildren Julien, Paisley, Scarlett and Brooklynn, and her sister Peggy Daly. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her. As Laura would encourage, "Do something nice for a horse." A Celebration of Life will be held at 1 pm, August 11, 2019 at the Legion in Westwold.
