On November 26, 2006, Laurence
Gordon Dyck, our beloved husband, father and grandfather passed away in Vernon Jubilee Hospital, surrounded by his wife and family.
Laurence was predeceased by his parents, John and Jimmy (Evelyn) Dyck, and by
his first wife, Madeline Dyck (nee Girard).
Laurence leaves to mourn: his wife, Ina Kaye Dyck; his three children: Ken (Kathy) and their
children, Stephanie, Cody, Kyle and Cameron;
Ron (Tamara) and children, Gerry, Katelyn and Derek; and Denise (Joe) and children, Rachel, Zack, Katelyn and Chelsea. He is also survived by his brother, Richard (Anita), and many extended family members. Laurence was a longstanding member of the Lions Club of Lumby, and more recently of Vernon. He was also a member of Branch 167 Royal Canadian Legion in Lumby, and of Branch 5 Army Navy and Airforce Club of Vernon.
A community-minded individual, Laurence gave countless hours volunteering for many charitable events in both communities. An avid golfer, he spent many days on the links with his family and friends. All who were blessed
to have met Laurence will remember his contagious smile and wit. His memory will live on in our hearts forever. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, December 2, at 11:00 A.M. in the White Valley Community Hall in Lumby, with Mr. Brian Jackson officiating. In lieu of flowers, friends wishing to do so may make donations in memory of Laurence to (The Lions Club) Camp Winfield, 1790 Davidson Rd., Winfield, V4V 1J8. Arrangements are in the care of Vernon Funeral Home. 542-0155
