was born on February 13th, 1933 in Daysland, Alberta and passed away suddenly at his residence on April 5th, 2009 at the age of 76 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Priscilla, to whom he was married for 19 years; two sons, Keith of Vernon, B.C. and Kevin (Jennie) of Kelowna, B.C.; one daughter, Laureen (Sanddie) Barbe of Calgary, Alberta; three step-children, Donna (Doug) Kind of Red Deer, Alberta, Jeanette Cowley and James (Reta Kutsche) Cowley of Vernon, B.C.; his step-grandchildren, Charlene, Brooke, Leslie, Joshua, Brendan, Danika, Wayne (Brandi), Keith (Toni) and Chad; two step-great-grandchildren, Dylan and Austin; one brother, Nester (Pauline) of Williams Lake, B.C.; one sister, Anna (Carl) Manchak of Vernon, B.C.; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lucka & Julianna Polehoykie; two brothers, Henry and Louie; and one niece, Debbie.

Cremation preceded a Celebration Of Larry’s Life which will be held at Bethel Funeral Chapel on Monday, April 13th, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. with Reverend Harold Young officiating. Placement of Larry’s cremated remains will follow in the Bethel Rose Garden Of Remembrance, after which family and friends are invited to a Reception in the Bethel Tea Room.
