In loving memory ~
It is with heavy hearts that we surrender our Son Lee Holt to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, with whom Lee had a personal relationship with. Lee started life planned. He was to be born on his parents wedding anniversary, August 31st. He came 10 days early. Lee was his Parents most amazing gift from God and exceeded every expectation. Lee's active childhood included trout fishing from a rowboat, salmon angling on the family river jetboat, dirt biking, snowmobiling, quadding, and dirt bike ice racing; all of which he continued to excel at in his adult years. His first UTV was a 2012 Turbo Wildcat and later added his personal favorite Can-Am X3 UTV. Lee's most prized possession was a custom build 2022 International CV515. This One-of-a-kind truck, his dad and him customized with a 13' aluminum deck, 42" transport tires on 22.5" wheels. Lee is survived by his Parents Mark and Tara Holt and younger Sister Emerald/Mitchell Benzmer. Grandmother Phyllis/Wally Burron, Grandfather Larry/Lani Greenwood, Uncle Pip Jordan/ Auntie Roberta Jordan/Jade Jordan. He was pre-deceased by Grandparents Gene Holt, Diana Greenwood and Uncle Dean Greenwood.
Lee had a profound effect on the many friends he chose. His smile lit up a room and his jokes were always on point. Lee was strong physically and was like "Captain America"... such a Big Guy, but his convictions and his passion for Jesus were bigger. Lee being very family oriented could usually be found hanging out with his fam jam. Lee had a passion for math at a young age and was a tutor for Kuman in his high school years, having attained the highest level in Kuman Canada while in grade 10 high school.
Working on a Power Engineering Degree at 18, Lee was certified at age 23. Lee worked at Syncrude until May 2020 when he resigned and came back to Vernon. In 2021 Lee went back to school to obtain a Water Engineering degree and was in his 2nd year program. Lee was awarded Deans List each semester. A profound day for Lee in 2022, was being the Best Man at his sister's wedding. He was a "shining star" that day.
Lee Loved Life to its fullest and loved his best friends Mark, Tara and Lil Sister Emerald.
Gone To Early... Never Ever to be Forgotten.
