Lena Anne Kitlar


We regret to announce the passing of Lena Anne Kitlar in Penticton Regional Hospital on December 8, 2004 at the age of 81 years. Lena had lived in Vernon for the past 40 years before moving to Penticton. She enjoyed sewing and her love was her gardening and growing Violets and donating them to Vernon Jubilee Hospital. Lena was predeceased by husband, Michael, 1997. Survived by her loving family, son Melvin, Vernon, daughter Rose-Marie (Walter) Lepischak, Keremeos. Four Grandchildren, Timm, Tom (Anne) Lepischak, Tammy Ponton (Paul VandenBorn) Terry (Wes) Burke, Great Grandchildren, Chad, Crystal Lynn, Reece Ponton, Kristen, Kelsey, Brooke Lepischak, Kaila, Sharon, Travis , and Julie Burke. Sister, Olive Matheson, Ontario, three brothers, Tony (Doreen) Puchailo, Walter Puchailo of Manitoba, Raymond (Louise) Puchailo, Surrey. Numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. Funeral service will be held from the Chapel Of Pleasant Valley Funeral Home, Thursday, December 23 at 1 p.m. Mr. Brian Jackson officiating. Interment to follow in family plot, Pleasant Valley Cemetery. Flowers gratefully declined, donations may be made to Alzheimer Society of B.C., 101-3462-27 ave., Vernon, B.C.
