Lenora Rose Nesbitt

November 20, 1914 – May 12, 2009

It is with great sadness her family announces the passing of Lenora Rose (Peggy) Nesbitt (nee Branscomb) on the afternoon of May 12, 2009 after a short illness. She was preceased by her husband Victor Roy Nesbitt.

Peggy will be forever loved and missed by her sister June (Hugh) Dennis, her son Wayne (Joan) and their children Patrick (Debbie), John, Kathryn (John) Russo, Brenda (Peter) Rode, Michael (Jennifer); son Guy and his son Sean (Lisa); her 14 great-grandchildren as well as her many friends.

Peggy was born in North Vancouver and lived in different parts of British Columbia before settling in Vernon. She was an active member of the 1st Baptist Church for a period in excess of 40 years.

By Peggy’s request there will not be a public Celebration of Life but a family celebration of her life will take place at her son Wayne’s home on the lake with her lovely family in attendance.

In lieu of flowers and those wishing to do so may make a donation in Peggy’s memory to the “Community Youth Group” program at the 1st Baptist Church, Vernon, BC.
