Leo John Degner was called home to be with HIS LORD February 4th at 9:45 pm.  He passed away just short of his 95th birthday with his wife Lylliam by his side.

Leo was born in Fort Macworth, Saskatchewan on his parent's farm. During WWII Leo served overseas in Europe as an aeromechanic in the RCAF and after the war lived in Smithers. Leo was a long time Christian and volunteered for Mission Aviation Fellowship in Africa and Upper Room Mission in Vernon.

In 1992 both he and his wife Lylliam moved to Vernon BC and found a loving community at Faith Baptist Church.

Leo was predeceased by his parents Otto and Mabel, his brothers Fred, George, and Bill and his children Carleen, Gary, Allan and James.

The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to Dr. Fred Dyck care aids and staff at Vernon General and Heron Grove.

He will be missed and always present in our hearts.

The funeral will be on Saturday February 24th at 11 am at Faith Baptist Church in Vernon BC, at 3908 - 27 Street.
