Len passed away in Vernon, BC on July 27th, 2021 at the age of 83 years, after a hard-fought battle with cancer. He was born in Trail, BC, the fourth of six sons born to Andrew and Edith Matovich.
Len started his career with Canada Post in Trail, BC as a letter carrier and went on to a 35-year career, retiring as Director of Western Canada Provinces.
Len was a true-blue Canucks hockey fan, loved F-1 auto racing, travelling and especially family time in Maui. He was a devoted husband and father taking great pride in his family, a source of strength and advice for us all, quoting "It is what it is!"
Len is survived by his loving wife of 62 years June, son Michael (Diane), daughter Karen (Bill), seven grandchildren, 6 ½ great-grandchildren, brothers Allen (Jana), Donald (Nancy), sisters-in-law Evelina and Margaret, and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by parents Andrew and Edith Matovich, infant sister Jeanne, brothers Frank, David and Norman. At his request, there will be no service.
