Born February 3, 1927 in Kamloops, B.C. Len passed away suddenly on Nov. 5, 2002 in Vernon. Len was the only child of the late Thomas and Merle Warner. He is survived by his aunts, Vivian (Art) Spence, Alice Douglas, Doris (Gordon) Henderson, and Kate (Bernie) Poulin. Also survived by many cousins including Shirley (Neil) McCaig and family whom he chose as his second family. Len worked with his father on a rock crushing crew for the Dept. of Highways for many years. As he traveled in B.C. he was always proud to point out the different roads that he had helped build. In the sixties Len and his parents had a hobby farm on Silver Star Road. Len liked growing and selling corn, apples and eggs. Len always had a big smile for everyone he met. Len resided at Noric House for the past year and made many friends with the staff and residents. A memorial service will be held at Knox Presbyterian Church on Sat., November 9 at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. Dr. Ed Millin officiating.
