Leslie Walter (Les) Phillips

passed away peacefully in the Vernon Jubilee Hospital on Tuesday, February 26th, 2008 at the age of 91 years. He will forever be remembered by his loving wife Jen, to whom he was married for nearly 67 years; their four daughters, Diann (Jesse) Coughlan of Abbotsford, B.C., Noreen (Rickey) Cabine of Seattle, Washington, Kathy Lowe of Vernon, B.C. and Sandy Hermanutz of Richmond, B.C.; six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by an infant son, Ronald; two sons-in-law, Chris Lowe and Ray Hermanutz and two brothers, David and Tom. Les’ passion in life was spending time fishing and woodworking. Cremation preceded the Funeral Service which will be held at Bethel Funeral Chapel on Saturday, March 1st, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. with Mr. David Blencowe officiating. Placement of Les’ cremated remains will follow in the Bethel Rose Garden Of Remembrance. As an expression of sympathy, those who wish to do so may send donations in memory of Les to the B.C.
