Mrs. Lillian “Grace” Klatt was called Home to be with her Lord on Thursday, November 8th, 2007 at the age of 85 years. She will be lovingly remembered by two sons, Stan
(Marilyn) of Vernon, B.C. and Phil of Prince George, B.C.; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Fred in 1992 and three brothers, Gordon, Bill and Sandy. Grace was born on July 1st, 1922 in High River, Alberta. Later she moved out to Vancouver,
B.C. where she worked at the B.C. Sugar Refinery. After her retirement she moved to the Okanagan. Grace was very active in her Church and made so many good friends there. The Funeral Service will be held at Living Word Lutheran Church, 6525 Okanagan Landing Road, on Wednesday, November 14th, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Al Pinno officiating. Interment will take place in Hazelwood Cemetery, Abbotsford, B.C. As an expression of sympathy, those who wish to do so may send donations in memory of Grace to Hospice House, 3506-27th Avenue, Vernon, B.C. V1T 1S4 or the Vernon Jubilee Hospital Foundation, 2101-32nd Street, Vernon, B.C. V1T 9Z9. Grace spent the last two months of her life in these places where she got the utmost care and comfort.
