Lillian Pearl Sturt passed away peacefully at Salmon Arm on Tuesday, May 9, 2006. Aged 88 years. Pearl will be lovingly remembered by children Clarence (Holly) File of 70 Mile House; Jim (Ruth) File, Sharon File and Cheryl Sturt all of Enderby; and Bryon (Judy) Sturt of Nelson; ten grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; nieces, nephews and many friends. Predeceased by husbands Carl File and Arthur Sturt; siblings Charles, Harry, Dulcie and Clarence Ruby and Mack Morcombe. Pearl was born in England and immigrated with her family to Enderby in 1927, then one year later to Armstrong where she lived until moving to the homestead at Gardon Lake with Arthur Sturt in 1947. Pearl kept busy with the farm, canning, knitting and most importantly, caring for her family. A Service of Remembrance will be held 11:00 a.m., Monday, May 15, 2006, at Glad Tidings Pentecostal Church, Armstrong. Reverend Terry Braman officiating.
