February 9, 1934 - April 7, 2021
Lily was born on February 9th, 1934 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan and she was welcomed into the presence of her Lord and Saviour on April 7th, 2021 with family by her bedside.
Lily was preceded in death by her husband Ted on August 11th, 2019 after having celebrated 66 years of marriage together; her parents, Herman and Olga (Schwartz) Erbacher; one brother, Arthur and more recently her three sisters, Charlotte, Elsie and Helen.
Lily is lovingly remembered by her remaining sister, Elizabeth (Ray) Sader; her four children, Jenny (Jack) Kania, Barbra (Rick) Davies, Lee Kriese and Murray Kriese; four grandchildren, Jason (Milann), Rachel (Mike), Shauna (Ryan) and Ashley; five great-grandchildren, Norah, Waylon, Oliver, Naomi and Hannah; and many nieces and nephews.
Lily was a wonderful mother and had a zest for life, enthusiastically living every minute to its fullest. She was an amazing cook and baker and loved her garden, plants and flowers. Her family all loved her fun loving friendly ways and how she welcomed everyone with open arms. Lily was blessed with the gift of hospitality and whoever entered her door was always showered with lots of love and care.
A private family Graveside Service was held at the Pleasant Valley Cemetery on Friday, April 16th, 2021 at 1:30 P.M.
We, the family of Lily Kriese would like to give our heartfelt thanks to Dr. Friesen as well as all the staff at Creekside Landing Assisted Living for taking such wonderful care of our Mom.
