Linda Louise Hughes (nee Merritt) was born in Gagetown, New Brunswick on May 11th, 1953 and was called Home to be with her Lord on February 12th, 2018 at the age of 64 years.
She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Dale; one daughter, Melissa of White Rock, B.C.; one son, Joe (Kelsey) of Armstrong, B.C.; four grandsons, Jordan, Isaac, Nathan and Jaxon; her "adopted" son by love and not papers, Alpha Bugembe of Vancouver, B.C.; her parents, Arthur (Julie Warden) Merritt of Queenstown, New Brunswick and Gladys Merritt of Abbotsford, B.C.; one sister, Faye (Paul) Johnstone of Abbotsford, B.C.; Dale's siblings: Douglas Hughes, David (Yvonne) Hughes, Dianne (Brian) Lawson, Darlene (Harvey) Northrup and Tim Hughes; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members. Linda was predeceased by one brother-in-law, Everett Hughes.
Cremation preceded a Celebration Of Linda's Life which will be held at Alexis Park Church, 3906-35A Street, on Saturday, February 24th, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. with Pastors Herb McCormack and Eldon Schultz officiating.
