We regret to announce the death at Polson Unit of Vernon Jubilee Hospital on April 17,2003 of Lloyd Ross Timmerman, at the age of 86 years. Lloyd was a veteran, serving overseas during the Second World War with the R.C.A.F.. He was a longtime resident of Fort St. John, where he was employed by The School Board, prior to moving to Vernon. Lloyd was a farmer, an avid hunter and fisherman, and was a very talented repairman of almost any kind of appliance. Lloyd will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife of 52 years, Eileen; sons Lynn (Stephanie) of Victoria and Brian (Sophie) of Calgary; daughter Linda (Edwin) Baerg of Vernon; eight grandchildren; Ben, Jessica, Sheldon, Clayton and Megan Timmerman, Krista and Melissa Baerg, and Diana (Mark) Bryce; and two great grandchildren; Ethan and Liam Bryce. Lloyd was predeceased by a brother, Baron and a sister, Beth Ross. He is survived by a sister, Wanita (Roy) Nash of Abbotsford and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, April 25 at 1:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Vernon Funeral Home, with Pastor Henry Friessen officiating. Interment will follow in the Coldstream Cemetery.
