June 16, 1933 - November 3, 2020
Lois was born on June 16, 1933 in Winfield, BC, lived in the Vernon area for most of her life and passed away peacefully on November 3, 2020 in Victoria, BC. She was predeceased by her parents, Fred Duggan and Grace McMaster, her brother Lloyd, and the love of her life Charles (Charlie) Roland Foisy.
Lois and Charlie were married for 46 years, had two children, Sheldon and Janine, and three grandchildren, Emma, Garath and Aiden.
Lois enjoyed the outdoors, music and spending time with her family. Whether it was berry picking, fishing, hunting or rock hounding, doing this with Charlie and the kids meant the world to her and her love of animals and nature carries on in her children.
She led by example and showed us that, if you put your mind to something, you can do anything. For some years she held the Canadian record for the largest elk taken with a bow.
The love she gave to Charlie and to her children in supporting them to reach for their dreams will live on. Lois will be greatly missed by those that had the pleasure of knowing her, and she leaves this world a better place for having been in it.
