Sadly, we announce the passing of a beautiful and very talented daughter, wife, mother and sister, Lora Louise Bensmiller. She passed away on November 8, 2019 at Hospice House, after a courageous battle with Multiple Myeloma cancer.
Lora was born on February 7, 1973 in Vancouver, BC, but lived most of her life in Armstrong attending school there. She loved music, nature and spending time with her family and friends. She worked with several theatre groups as a music director and accompanist. She taught piano and guitar, and had many students through the years. Lora composed many songs, some of which were featured on CBC Radio. Lora received a degree as an Early Childhood Educator and enjoyed working with children.
