Suddenly at home after a brief illness, on April 29, 2005, Lorne Marius Francks aged 69 years, a resident of the Armstrong and Spallumcheen for many years. Lorne was born at Vancouver on February 5, 1936 and while in Armstrong he worked for Spallumcheen Municipality for 23 years retiring in 2001. He had a love for animals and took care of Wildlife Rehabilitation for 8 years. Lorne was a good neighbor and will be missed by all who knew him. He leaves his loving family, wife, Rosemary, Armstrong, daughter, Lee Harms, Smithers, step daughter, Desiree, Armstrong; grandchildren, Skyler, Anastasia, Dallas, Michael and Sandy; brothers and sister, Wayne (Grace), Gary (Jani), Wendy Gorman (Mike), all of Vernon, nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends. A tea to honour Lorne will be held on Saturday, May 7, 2005 at 1:00 P.M. at the home of Glen and Val Johnstone, Reservoir Road, Armstrong, BC. Everyone welcome.
