Lottie MayLottie May Stier

Mrs. Lottie May Stier, a long time resident of Vernon, passed away in the Pleasant Valley Manor, Armstrong, B.C. on Monday, October 3rd, 2005 at the age of 90 years. Lottie was born in Santa Rosa, Florida on January 2nd, 1915. Lottie grew up in High River, Alberta where she married Jack Stier in 1936. Moved to Vernon in late 1970’s. Lottie was very active in various organizations including Order of the Eastern Star. Some of her interests included family, friends, crocheting, gardening, crafts and traveling. Lottie will be sadly missed and will be lovingly remembered by her two sons; Robert of Vernon, B.C. and Roy of Quesnel, B.C., 13 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, 3 daughters in-law, Sylvia, Edith and Jean and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, John Ernest (Jack) Stier, brother Jack Taylor, and two sons; John and Donald. Cremation preceded the Funeral Service which will be held at Bethel Funeral Chapel on Friday, October 7th, 2005 at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Tim Paquette officiating. A Reception will follow in the Tea Room at Bethel Funeral Chapel. As an expression of sympathy, those who wish to do so may send donations in memory of Lottie to the B.C.
