Louise Oliverius


LOUIS E. OLIVERIUS, a longtime resident of Lumby, was born in Enderby on July 26, 1936. He passed away peacefully at his home in Lumby on March 5, 2003. Louis is survived by his loving wife, Edna; daughter, Cheryl Risso (Rick Price) of Richmond; son Rick (Susan) of Vernon; son Lance (Terri) of Lumby; and grandchildren: Warren, Amber, Mayria, Ryan, Darren, and Christina. He is also survived by great-grandaughter, Ashley, brother Clarence in Czechoslovakia, brother Dennis (Leanne) of Armstrong. Louis was a longtime truckdriver. His passion was fishing, and he fished as hard as he worked! He also enjoyed hunting, bowling, and slowpitch softball. A man who touched many lives and who will be sorely missed. A Celebration of Louis’ life was held at Lumby Christian Church (basement hall) between 11:00 A.M. and 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, March 8. As an expression of sympathy, donations would be appreciated to the B.C. Heart and Stroke Fund or the B.C. Lung Association in memory of Louis.
