Lowell Hugh Wilmot passed away unexpectedly after a short illness on Oct. 1, 2013 in Vernon BC
He was born in Estevan, Saskatchewan and grew up with his family in communities in Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and British Columbia
Lowell was predeceased by his mother Anne Wilmot in 2010. He will be sadly missed by his father Hugh Wilmot of Carnduff, Saskatchewan, brother Bruce Wilmot (Karen) and sister Christine Hodgins (Tom) and nieces, Julie, Sandra and Melissa and nephew, Adam.
He will be fondly remembered by his caregivers and special friends over the years and roommates, Kim, Bill, Lois, Don and former roommates Kirsten and Jody.
Lowell had a Big smile and enjoyed his life. He went horseback riding with NOTRA, hiking and biking with CRIS and swimming with Aquadept. He attended NOCLS Day program for many years and recently Venture Training (VDACL). He loved country music and dancing, Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy.
A special thanks to Dr. Arnold and the Doctors and nursing staff of ICU at VJH for their wonderful care of Lowell.

A Celebration of Lowell’s life will be held at Venture Training on Weds. Oct. 16, 2013 at 11am at 4240 Alexis Park Dr.
A service will be held at a later date for family in Carnduff, Saskatchewan
