December 3, 1917 - May 16, 2019
Loyda Bulford passed away peacefully May 16, 2019 at the age of 101. Mom was born December 3, 1917 in Sheyenne, North Dakota to Earnest and Hazel Alger and spent most of her growing up years in Lumby, BC. Loyda was predeceased by her husband Arthur William Bulford in 1975. She is survived by one brother, Rex (Penny) Alger of Vernon. Loyda will be lovingly remembered and truly missed by her four surviving children, Dan Bulford of Vernon, Donna (James) McEachnie of Vernon, Deborah (Jack) Fisher of Vernon, David (Debrah) Bulford of Kelowna. Also bringing her tremendous joy are 14 grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren along with numerous nieces and nephews. Mom loved nature, flowers, birds and was an avid painter most of her life. With her strong Faith and compassionate spirit, she devoted her life helping those less fortunate. The family would like to thank "The Hamlets", 4th floor for all their tender loving care. Celebration of Mom's life will be held at a later date.
