Lydia was born on June 11th, 1923 and was called Home to be with her Lord on September 17th, 2018 at the age of 95 years. She was born in Hodgeville, Saskatchewan, was a long time resident of Vernon, B.C. and at the time of her death was living in Duncan, B.C.
Lydia will be lovingly remembered by her children, Les (Marly) and Warren; her daughter-in-law, Wanda; five grandchildren, Byron (Kimberly), Christopher (Natasha), Leanne (Craig), Corrina (Derick) and Lyle (Angela); thirteen great-grandchildren; and many extended family members. She was preceded in death by her husband William (Bill) on December 30th, 2005.
Cremation preceded a Celebration of Lydia's Life which will be held at Bethel Funeral Chapel on Saturday, October 13th, 2018 at 11:00 am with Pastor Craig Tufts officiating. A Reception will follow in the Bethel Tea Room. At the conclusion of the Reception, Lydia will be laid to rest in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery beside her beloved husband Bill.
