Margaret Cameron Gibson

Margaret Cameron Gibson was born in Greenock Scotland August 4th, 1953 and moved to Vernon in 1976. A long standing member of the Vernon Yacht Club, Accredited member of the Federation of Canadian Artists and an associate of other various art communities.
Margaret loved life - she loved laughing, traveling and having fun. Margaret and her husband James travelled a great deal together. After the passing of James she continued her adventures traveling the world.
Margaret worked as a florist, banker and was a business owner. She was the co-founder of Apple Valley Auto, owner of Harris flowers and retired from the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce.
Margaret was an extremely talented woman who had many skills. She loved floristry, art, traveling, making things beautiful and had an amazing financial and business acumen.
Margaret was a loving wife to her late husband James Gibson and dedicated mother to her daughters, Claire and Rebecca, and wonderful grandmother to her grandsons, Owan, Arron, Giovanni and future Granddaughter. All of whom she was extremely proud and excited to welcome.
A service of remembrance will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, June 19th, 2023 in the chapel of Pleasant Valley Funeral Home with The Reverend Doctor Teresa Charleton, officiating and a reception to follow.
