Margaret Ivy Dovauo (nee Bird)
Passed away on Feb. 25th 2006 after a long and happy life. Margaret (Peggy) was born in England April 17, 1903 and immigrated to Canada with her parents in 1911.
She married and had a family on a Saskatchewan farm until 1938, then the family moved to Lumby in B.C..
Peggy lived there until her husband of 55 years passed away. She moved into Vernon to be near her friends and bowling. In 1990 Peggy moved to Kamloops to be near her sons.
Peggy was pre-deceased by her husband, Alexander (Sandy). She leaves three sons, Stanley (Joyce) of Devon England, Raymond (Burness) Kamloops and Allen Murray (Fay) Kamloops, nine grandchildren and a multitude of great grandchildren.
She loved family, gardening, knitting and bowling.
Her friends will be notified of a time for her ashes to be interred in Vernon.
