The family is saddened to announce the loss of Margaret (Peggy) Harrison on May 2, 2003 in Vernon Jubilee Hospital, at the age of 85. Peggy mourned the passing of her husband, Clarence, on May 2, 1984, her youngest son, Thomas, on December 27, 1991, and her sister, Ethel Bolen. She is survived by her oldest son, Larry (Solange) of Lumby, and six daughters: Doris (John - deceased) Townsend of Vernon, Joan (Sandy) Purver of Barriere, Mary Harrison of Seattle, Washington, Gina Prescott of Nanaimo, Valorie (Robert) Smethurst of Edmonton, Alberta, and Linda Harrison of New Westminster. Margaret is further survived by 27 Grandchildren, 15 Great Grandchildren, her sister, Gladys Morgeau of Red Deer, Alberta, and 3 brothers: Bill Walker of New Westminster, David Walker of Denver, Colorado, and Dennis Walker of Red, Deer, Alberta. Services will be held on Wednesday, May 7th, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. at Vernon Funeral Home, 3007 - 28th Street, Vernon, B.C. (250) 542-0155. Reception will follow at 12:00 p.m. at Pleasant Valley Funeral Home, after which interment will be at Coldstream Cemetery.
