Margaret Irene Gilchrist (Marnie) died peacefully at VJH on December 27, 2018 at 91 years. She is survived by her brothers Sam Blakely (Janet) and Chuck Blakely (Faye), her daughter Lynn Reynolds (Sandy), her son Rick Gilchrist (Sue), grandchildren Stephen Reynolds, Jennifer Gillen (Mike), Christopher Reynolds (Stephanie), Tristen Gilchrist (Adam) and greatgrandchildren Victoria, Piper, Ryker, Madelyn and Kayleigh.
Marnie lived a full life and her accomplishments were many. She was an R.N., Flight Attendant and Alderman. She had a passion for skiing and loved to travel - she visited almost every continent. She had many friends who will miss her. She was a fiercely independent woman who was never stuck for an opinion. There will be a Celebration of Life in the spring.
