ROGERS: Margaret Mary. It is with great sadness and loneliness that we announce the peaceful passing of Margaret Mary Rogers on January 12th, 2005. Predeceased in September 2004 by Gervin, her husband of 64 years, she is survived by her son, Michael, daughter Tania (Bernie) Cherny, grandchildren: Angela, Crystal, Ryan and Tracy, sister Vivian, special family friend Sheren Kripps and many nieces, nephews and friends. Born in Kamsack, Saskatchewan on October 8th, 1918, but brought up on a mixed farm in Magnolia, outside of Edmonton Alberta. Margaret loved her outdoors, horses and daredevil ways. Having moved to Edmonton to begin work, she met and married her one love for life, Gervin. Son, Michael and daughter, Tania and a complete devotion to family quickly followed. Having to move 5 times to points all over Western Canada made her adaptable and she loved the atmosphere of the church and the tremendous square dance family that they developed. Active until their 80th year, they were a hard couple to pin down. But the love of family always
utmost in her mind. The family wish to extend their gratitude for the kind and exceptional care given their Mother and the time and compassion given the family, by the staff of the Polson Multi Level Extended Care Unit in Vernon. In lieu of flowers, friends who so wish may make memorial donations
to Polson Extended Care Unit in Vernon. Memorial Service will be held from the Chapel of First Memorial Funeral Services, 1211 Sutherland Ave, Kelowna on Thursday, January 20th, 2005 at 1:00 P.M.
When you have loved someone deeply, they are never lost to you. Precious memories of that dear one live on in your heart forever.
