Margaret Winnifred (Marg) Nelson was born in Edmonton, Alberta on May 13th, 1930 and passed away suddenly at her residence on January 21st, 2018 at the age of 87 years. Marg resided in Canterbury Court for the past several years, a place she truly called "Home" and where she was loved by many.
Marg will be lovingly remembered by her son, Ken (Sheila); her daughter, Terri (Winn); four grandchildren, Thea (Kurt), Brad (Charlette), Darren (Bailey) and Christina (Stephen); and five great-grandchildren, Bryce, Leland, Macie, Kaiden and Leo.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Malcolm Lawrence (Lawrie) Nelson on September 21st, 2001.
In respecting Marg's wishes, she was cremated and there will be no service held. As an expression of sympathy, those who wish to do so may send donations in her memory to the charity of their choice.
