It is with sadness but love in our hearts that we announce the passing of Marilyn Anita Duncan. Friday, March 31, 2023 in Salmon Arm, B.C. Marilyn was 87.
Beloved Daughter, Sister, Wife, Mother, Nana, Great-Grandma and friend.
Predeceased by her mother Anita, Husband Donald and Sister Joyce.
Devoted Mother to April, Sandy (Don) and Bruce. Sister to Richard Evison.
Precious Nana to Diana, Richard and Melissa, as well as dear Great-Grandma to Sydney and Allana.
Marilyn was born in Edmonton, Alberta. She lived in New Westminster, B.C & Nelson B.C. Her and her husband Donald chose to finish out their retirement in Vernon, B.C. She was gentle but strong, loving, caring. A wonderful lady who has left a permanent mark etched on our hearts & will be supremely missed.
Her wishes were that she be cremated and there be no service. Instead the family is asking that If you would like to honour her memory.
This spring while you pick out your plants, think about planting a rose bush in remembrance of her, they were her favourite.
We would like to thank the people at Good Samaritan Hillside for taking such good care of our Nana.
Nana we love you a bushel and a peck and a hug around the neck.
