Marjorie Bernice Hallam passed away peacefully at Vernon on Saturday, August 15, 2009. Aged 83 years.
Marjorie will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by husband Ernest of Armstrong; son Dennis (Linda) and daughter Pat Vesty (Robert) all of Armstrong; brother Larry MacGregor of Lumby; grandchildren Pamela Vesty-Frederick, Bryna, Braden, Natasha and Angeline Hallam; great grandchildren Sloan, Ethan, Emily and Zayn; extended family nieces Chyme and Shani and many friends.
Marjorie, daughter of Duncan and Laura MacGregor, was born in Tompkins, Sk., and came to Armstrong in 1939. She attended school in Spallumcheen and Armstrong then worked at the Co-Op Store. On January 2, 1946 she and Ernest were married. Marjorie worked for the family business, Terminal Motors. She was a charter member of the Kinett Club, enjoyed knitting, bingo, holidaying in the U.S. and taking care of her family.
A Funeral Service will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 22, 2009 at Mountain View Chapel, Armstrong. Reverend Bari Castle officiating.
