It is with profound sadness that Richard Ziola (Rhea) & David Ziola (Colleen) bid farewell to their beloved Mom, Mary Ann (Ann) Josephine Ziola nee L'Henaff.
Ann was born in Melfort SK August 15 1942 and passed away peacefully at Vernon Jubilee Hospital March 30 2018. In addition to her sons, Ann is survived by her husband of 56 years, Edward Ziola and two grandsons, Paig & Michael.
Ann also leaves behind to celebrate her life her extended grandchildren Joshua, Sydney, and Dayna. Ann was the elder and loving sister to her surviving siblings Paulette Webb (Wayne), John L'Henaff (Debbie) and Frank L'Henaff (Leah) not to mention a caring and generous aunt to numerous nieces and nephews.
Ann was predeceased by her father Tony (2002), her mother Gertrude (2009), and her brother Robert (2010).
You may have never won the "big prize" when you played the scratchies, but we sure did when we got you as a Mom. Rest In Peace, Mom. We love you. Now you're making quilts for the angels.
Alternatives Funeral and Cremation Services (2980 Smith Drive, Armstrong BC) will be holding a celebration of Ann's life on Saturday May 12 2018 at 1:00 pm. Tea & refreshments to follow.
