November 3, 1939 - November 10, 2016
It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of Marion on November 10, 2016 at Vernon Jubilee Hospital. Marion was born in Enderby on November 3, 1939 and she resided on the small family farm in Grindrod, BC. She attended Grindrod Elementary School and Enderby High School. After graduation, Marion worked at Regina Hospital as a Nurse Aide. She also worked in Revelstoke and the Vancouver General Hospital. In her retirement years Marion resided at the Carrington Place in Vernon, BC. Marion’s hobbies were singing (Gospel and Country). She excelled in Ballroom dancing and achieved many awards during her younger years. Marion also loved to cook, bake, and keep her younger siblings in line.
Marion is predeceased by her dad Mike; mom Katie; sister Iris; and brothers: Paul, Dennis, and Willie. She is survived by her brother Ben; sisters: Natalka, Olga, Anna, and Patricia; nephews: Michael, Sheldon, Tyler; nieces: Patricia Ann and Rene. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Grindrod Cemetery in the Summer 2017. Expressions of sympathy may be forwarded to the family at www.MyAltneratives.ca
