It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother at age 87. Predeceased by her husband Raymond and daughter Raylene, Mary is survived and greatly missed by her children Dianne Storey (Tom Lyons), Ken Storey, Rick Storey (Carin), Myrna Cleaveley (Rob), Lee Jesse (Norm), Ramona Scott (Rod), Dan Storey (Pam), and Carrie Storey. She will also be sadly missed by her numerous grand children and many great grand children. Mary will be remembered for her open arms, smile, and warm heart for her family.
Born in Sheho, Saskatchewan, Mary moved to British Columbia, where she raised her children. Life took her to Barriere, Vanderhoof, Fort St John, and finally Vernon. A very social woman, Mary touched many hearts and will be missed by the many friends she made across the province. As a lifelong Christian, Mary exhibited a tranquil faith that will reward her forever.
Mary's family is respecting stay at home guidelines currently in place and will hold a celebration of life when possible.
The family extends gracious thanks to the staff at Heritage Square Home in Vernon for their care and comforting support during Mary's time there.
