Matty was born on April 29th, 1994 in the Vernon Jubilee Hospital and passed away suddenly on March 30th, 2019 at his residence in Kelowna, B.C. at the age of 24 years. Matty will be lovingly remembered by his mother, Kimberly De Haven and his father, Thomas Conlin, both of Vernon, B.C.; his greatest love Jasmine Olsen of Kelowna, B.C. and her family; one sister, Lindsey (Andrew) Blair and their children, Oliver and Rosie of Kelowna, B.C.; one brother, Brandon Conlin-De-Haven and his grandmother, Anna De Haven, both of Vernon, B.C.; his uncle and aunt, Barry and Judy De Haven of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan; and numerous extended family members.

Matty was a man who dearly loved his family and friends and would do anything to help another person in need. He had a very strong work ethic and was a loyal, dependable and trustworthy person. Matty was an avid reader and very passionate about living a healthy lifestyle. He encouraged others to accomplish the impossible in their lives while coaching them as a personal trainer in the gym.

Cremation preceded a Celebration of Matty's Life which will be held at the Vernon Alliance Church, 2601-43rd Avenue, on Friday, April 12th, 2019 at 11:00 am with Pastor Stuart McKnight officiating. A Reception will follow in the Church Fellowship Hall.

As an expression of sympathy, those who wish to do so may send donations in memory of Matty to the Cystic Fibrosis Clinic of Children's Hospital, K3-189-4480 Oak Street, Vancouver, B.C. V6H 3V4.
