Maureen Wiznuk - Maureen passed away peacefully after a brief illness, surrounded by her five children. Predeceased by her husband Walter Wiznuk just 27 days ago. Soulmate of 61 years.
Maureen leaves behind her five children Angela (Rande), Garth, Diana (Dale), Andrea (Greg) and Bryan (Jen). Grandchildren Lena, Eric, Wesley, Adam, Sammy, Sophia, Archer, Freya and great-grandson Able.
Maureen was born in Belleville, Ontario and married Walter in 1956. They travelled from the east coast to the west with many postings in the Armed Forces. The 1970's were spent on the Queen Charlotte Islands in Masset. Many wonderful family memories were made there.
In 1995 Maureen and Walter relocated to Vernon where they resided until passing. Maureen was a wonderful cook and loved gardening. Their favourite activity in Vernon was playing cards and bingo with their friends.
We take comfort in knowing Mom and Dad are together again. We love you Mom!
